Diana Rogers Jaeger, assistant communications director for the Oklahoma Housing Finance Agency, is the recipient of the Certified Communications Professional (CCP) designation administered by the AWC Matrix Foundation. At the agency, Diana manages both internal and external relations for the local organization, entrusted with hundreds of millions of dollars in federal funding earmarked for affordable housing needs.
A member of the Oklahoma City Professional Chapter, Diana believes that lifelong learning is the best way to ensure continuous self-improvement and growth in her career. It’s not surprising that her supervisor writes that “Diana demonstrates tenacity for learning new things, an eagerness to excel and a passion for creativity.”
When asked why she pursued the CCP designation, Diana explained, “The process forced me to compile and analyze what I’ve learned and accomplished in the last five years of my career. It made me fully realize the skills I’ve mastered and the experiences I’ve gained, both at work and in volunteer capacities that set me apart from my peers.”
Since the start of her career, Diana has been heavily involved in several professional development organizations. She has held leadership positions within the local chapters of AWC, the Public Relations Society of America and the International Association of Business Communicators.
“Continuous improvement is part of Oklahoma Housing Finance Agency’s culture,” Diana said. “I’m very lucky that my employer encourages and supports professional development so that I can fulfill my job responsibilities to the highest standards.”
